James was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Creative, smart, and witty - His smile could warm a room and his heart was beyond big.

James' life ended before he, and the world, had a chance to realize how incredibly gifted he was. I am grateful for the time we had together. James was a living example of what kindness looks and acts like and, as his dad, he probably taught me more than I ever taught him. His raw intelligence was tempered by humility, patience, and grace. His laughter was truly infectious, and I miss not hearing it in our house.

James will live fondly in our hearts and memories until we meet again.
