My son Joey was my first born child. He was an amazing boy who loved all sports. He was a great baseball player with quite the impressive slide and loved hockey too. He would always get the kids to come out and play sports, oftentimes dragging the hockey net into the street. He was fun loving and his smile could light up a room. He loved being with friends and had a sarcastic sense of humor. He was intelligent, athletic and funny. He literally would give anyone the shirt off his back and was extremely generous. He had a huge heart and a soft spot for the underdog, particularly the homeless. I created a fundraiser in his honor called "Joey Bags" where we distribute toiletries and other necessities to the homeless. I miss him every minute of every day. His presence is always felt and we talk about him all the time. His memory lives on. He was an amazing son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He touched so many and I'm glad I was chosen to be his mom. We love you and miss you Joey.
