Robbert was born and raised in Northern California. He was the oldest of five children. He was a father to a 4 year old boy. His passing changed us all forever. Growing up Robbert was the prankster, quick-witted, extremely intelligent child. He would give to anyone in need. By the age 14, he had wrote many songs and stories. His music was in the top 100 on the internet charts and played on radio stations. His artist name was "REK" and he graduated from CRAS with an Audio Engineer degree.
