Troy was 33 years old when he died from an fentanyl/heroin overdose. He struggled for 16 years with mental issues and his sobriety. He was so much more than his addictions. Troy was my middle child and he was very protective of his older sister and younger brother. Troy, loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Troy lived at home with me and his step Dad. He told anyone he talked to that I was his best friend. Troy wanted to have kids, and a wife like his siblings.
